I've recently received a custom 84 corvette c4 from my grandparents and as soon as i noticed it only did 84 I've wanted to make it faster for a reasonable price anyone know of a way
I assure you. The car goes faster than 84. There's lots you can do to make the car faster, more efficient and smoother. Id say for just going faster forward maybe look into some intakes, cams and such. Autox, look into coil-overs and swaybars+heim links. This forum is a encyclopedia of go fast stuff. Just search.

Define reasonable price?
As they say , "speed costs ,how fast can you afford to go "?
Do you wish to retain the CFI intake ?
You can get some intermediate benefits as some have done by porting the restrictive stock intake
see http://www.technovelocity.com/chevyh...rt_polish.html
but also being aware the '84 also has a ordinary cam and marginal heads , all of which can be replaced for a cost
You could start with the cheap easy stuff.
Advance the timing and remove the catylitic converter and gut the insides so it flows straight through. You could make your fuel pressure adjustable and increase it to 15 psi. You should feel an increase in performance.
Some of that stuff at DCS would help:
Renegade intake
Bored throttle bodies
This is easy do it yourself stuff.
Or you could buy an extra intake manifold off of eBay for $75 and spend some time boring out the runners that would give similar results instead of buying the renegade. You would need a higher stall torque converter to get full benefit.
