Default c4 corvette (1987) NEED HELP

hey every one
so i have been rebuilding my 1987 corvette. i have rebuilt the engine from a 2 bolt 350 GM motor, to a 40 bored out 4 bolt 350 GM block. i had the transmission rebuilt. i now am faced with problems, i have installed both the car runs rich. what should i do? also it doesn't want to charge. so i tested the alternator (it works perfect) and i also got a new battery. I'm thinking it must be the wiring but i don't know how to trace it back to the computer. what should i do? is this common?

PS. i think the blue wire leading to the alternator is the excite wire, not sure?

You need to pull the engine codes to see if any faults are showing

Computer has nothing to do with the charging circuit.
Without further analysis/investigation on your part, any comment is going to be at best a guess based on the little info you have supplied.

If you plan on keeping the car ,then the best investment you can make is to buy the factory service manual (FSM ) for your year that
has work through fault flow charts for all / any problems you may have
Even available in a Cd version

This is the Alternator fault chart for a unknown year C4 but is typical of the diagnostic charts available in the FSM
you work through to locate your problem
