Want to clean Idle air controller
My car takes 2-3 turns sometimes to start. It doesn't seem to be linked to temp either. I changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires. Nothing has changed. Next step is to clean the Idle air controller; as it does idle a little rougher than I think it should. However I don't know what to clean it with??? It says don't use chemicals?? How should I clean it any tips would be appreciated greatly?

Get some intake cleaner to spray the pintel and use some on a cotton swab to clean the pintel bore under the TB. Also clean the TB and throttle plates. The method to set base idle and the TPS is on my site.
If hard starting when hot/warm but OK when cold suspect a leaking injector.
