I do it all the time. Upload your picture somewhere. Click on the icon that looks like a postcard above the reply box, put in the link to your picture. Done.
I have heard that if you're a paying member you can paste pictures directly into a post. Since I'm poor and cheap I can't do that. That reminds me of a conversation I had a few years ago.
Them: "You must be rich -- you have a Corvette".
