Where you plan hooking the tacho signal up ; in the engine bay or under the dash?
The tacho signal is a white wire going to the dash cluster connector

Somewhere on the dashboard.

How to reach that wire ? Do I need to remove the cluster ? or under the dash (feet area) ?

Mine did not work properly hooking it up under the dash. I ran a wire to the tach filter for a better signal.

Next to the coil.

PS
The coil is under the hood.

PPS
It has a spark wire hooked up to it going to the distributor.

PPPS
The distributor is under the water pump.

PPPPS
I will stop now.

Edit
Drinking 4+ cans of PEPSI by 1PM is not the best idea.

You really confused me lol.

I need to open my hood to check this filter , but from a quick google search I couldn't find a tach filter for a '94 !! all I saw was for a '91 or earlier !!

And it seems the filter has in&out. Where is it coming from and where does it go ? and where should I make the connection if there was a tach filter for my '94.

I'm waiting kimmer to tell me why it didn't work properly . and what year is his c4

OK, It's a 92 and no matter what the setting on the light was it would go on around 3k. I had it connected to the white tach wire under the dash in the box. I was told to try connecting it to the tach filter so I did and it works perfectly.

94 Corvette Vin P (LT1) did not use a tach filter.

Here's the schematic.

Signal from the ICM White wire goes to the PCM Black connector
pin B5.

Tachometer Out signal from PCM Red connector is pin A13 a White wire.

The tach wire then goes to the Electronic Brake Traction Control
Module harness. The wire also goes to C100 which is the firewall bulk head
connector where the wires from the engine compartment go
into the interior. The White tach wire then goes to the Dash Cluster
Tach.

Mitchell (OnDemand5) did no get that memo

PDF of wiring

Mitchell also thinks that a 94 zr1 wiring is the same as a 94 lt1 wiring...some how I doubt that.
