Computer on top of Battery?

Computer on top of Battery?
Please help, the computer that sits on top of my battery has a broken bracket and I don't know how to remove it. Has anyone done this who can offer directions? Thanks this is my first "Vette"

Some of us know what year you are talking about but it helps alot if you always mention the year (+ engine/ trans type if relevant to the question )
