hello I have a bds blown 350 sb which was in my 39 chev.. want to install in my 87 c4... I have seen this done but cant find info on lower drive pulley clearance.. is crossmember modified by notched or changed? and steering rack is relocated?.. would like info on this. as a former street rodder..my c4 would be the best of both worlds.. hotrod, looks,, nice handleing.. thanks..

Depending on your drive assembly, you might have to notch the existing crossmember, and move the sway bar/steering rack forward.

thanks for the reply.. guess im going to have a project. it will get done one way or another..my drive pulley is wide [2 1/2 inch]..

Can you post some pictures? Some forum members have gotten away with a 12-rib + 6-rib ATI damper combo without altering the crossmember. There is a forum member on here running a small 144 weiend blower with a carb, unfortunately this section of the forum is a little slow to respond.
