Have a 88 that needs a master cylinder. How difficult is this job, and are there any tricks to getting the system bleed correctly other than right rear, right front left rear, left front. Any advice would be appreciated.
Re: How difficult is installing a master cylinder (Bluewasp)
Easy job,
and No you do not have to bleed each wheel... All you have to do is bench bleed and then put back on the car and then, keep the cups full with the lines attached then just pump the brakes a few times and break 1 line at a time loose on the master cylinder to bleed you will see when all the air is gone.... Very easy... This advise was given to me by the best ...Davis Fultcher........ Took me 30 mins to remove mine and put the new one on.... Hardest time I had was getting the cups off the old one..... That took me and extra 30 mins.....They did not have any with the cups.....
