Help - A/C vac motor
All my AC is going to the defroster. Vac motor does not seem to work. What is the best way to get to this thing? I was going to pull the controller and radio or even the dash cap. Any suggestions?

the problem may be in the controller itself.
my 86's controller (in the console under the radio) has a gismo that routes vaccume to the different ports which in turn power the different ducting. this part wore out and lost its seal, allowing the vaccume to leak before it could do its job.
the best fix is to replace it, that is if its still available.
but first I'd check the vac lines from the motor and under the dash (one may have been damaged or disconnected)
