Lt1 wont start
I went out to my LT1 on Thursday to start it and it wouldn`t start. All the warning lights came on to start with and then went out, and there`s a ticking sound from under the passenger side of the lower dash. I`ve had the car on charge for the last 2 days but it still wont start on the battery. When I pushed the cigerette lighter in the ticking stopped, only to start when it popped out again. The ticking upsets the battery charger, making it flicker. The car starts with a booster pack attached, and runs ok when started, and the ticking stops as well.
Never had any problems before, but as this is my first Corvette I dont know what to look for. Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be ?

Battery is dead / flat / has dead cell / not holding a charge or
the main battery cables are loose / dirty giving a bad connection.
Remove / clean / re-tighten the ends of both + and - batt cables
