Default Porting 113 heads to match FIRST intake

Question for all. I have to pull the heads to fix stripped intake manifold bolt threads. May as well work the heads to match the FIRST intake I bought. I need some advice.

Ken at FIRST says the unported base of the FIRST is close to a 1205 gasket. I want to match the intake runners of my 113s to the FIRST base. Is this doable?

Also, I read previously the exhaust ports on the 113 heads are very small. I have a set of TPiS 1 5/8 headers I am going to install. Should I have the machine shop work the exhaust ports?

The shop said they will helicoil the stripped threads, port to whatever gasket I suggest, and do a 3 angle valve job for $350/pr.

I am not looking for killer power. Just upgrading since I have to do all this work anyways. May as well make it worth it.

Thanks all in advance

They should take a 1205 matching without a problem
Portmatching the exh a waste. If you have him port the exh just do it the way its supposed to flow well the rest is what it is.
Long as the gasket covers the port and seals to the header the rest is insignificant (shape of the gasket vs port etc).
Little bowl work will go a long way
