Looking for a Scanner for 89

I can read the codes. I want to be able to monitor engine operation. Tell me more about the USB cable and I presume there is proprietary software suitable for a 89 TPI engine?

The links at the bottom of that page detail various dataloging programs
Datamaster is most user friendly ,especially for playback of logs recorded ,is free to download and gives 20
free datalogs before you have to buy.

TunerPro RT is the program of choice for TPI tuners; does dataloging and allows reprogramming of the tune
in the ECM ( with other hardware like a chip burner.)
Need to download the TP program itself

Will probably need some help from here on setting up the correct Comms ports on your laptop in order for them to communicate correctly with the ECM
