Rt Front Pad sticking or dragging.
New problem came up yesterday. Driving home I noticed the rt side rim was hot and smoking. As i was driving the pedal went to the floor and was able to make it home using the e-brake. After It cooled down last night the pedal works fine again and stops good. I do know that the pads are getting a little worn.
As iam on a limited budget.. What would be a good guess to start with. New pads, brake hose or something else.
Its seem to be only the one side.

The brake pedal went to the floor because the brake fluid boiled in the caliper. That's most likely caused by water in the brake fluid. You need to bleed/flush the system with new brake fluid before doing anything else.

It was the stuck caliper. Has nasty brake fluid. Had to replace the master cly. Noticed it was leaking out the front between it and the booster. Shocked advance auto had it. Thank goodness i had a code foe 20% off if bought online. Did order the caliper rebuid kit from napa.
