Did you tell the tuner what injectors you had and at what pressure, or did you just tell him 22 lbs. It is critical that the tuner get the flowrate correct. This post will gain you a schitt storm of PM, so you must make your best judgement call.
First, your username says you have a 1984 Corvette? This would be CFI, and not TPI. The CFI's have not be hacked for reprogramming either to the best of my Knowledge. What system do you have?
Bosch III's? Are they yellow 280-155-700, or blue 280-155-715, or?

Most blue Bosch III's are 24.3 lbs at 43.5 psi. Send your memcal back and have your flowrate modified for this larger injector. They should be 280-155-715, and it's molded right on the injector. I'll assume your using Speed Density. Send it too me, and I'll fix it for free if you'd like.
