Default Replacing Antenna -- Antenna Lead Won't Release

Motor runs and antenna goes nowhere. So, I am in the process of removing the antenna and motor. I have it all ready to drop out, but I cannot get the antenna lead (inside the car and behind the hatch side trim) to disconnect. I took the antenna lead off the assembly, but the power wiring and lead pass together through a rubber grommet to exit the car and have to be removed together, so I either have to get the lead connector apart or cut the power wiring down inside the fender. (I've already removed the tail-lights and freed the grommet.)
I have tried to Pull, Pull and twist, Push and twist. Arrgh!!

Does anyone know how it is supposed to release?

That's an unusual connector and can be difficult to unplug.

Locate the antenna coax connector and grasp one side in each hand. While pulling, turn the connector a quarter turn. This should disconnect the antenna coax from the body coax. You may have to twist or bend the connector slightly to disengage it.

Thanks, Hooked on Vettes. That was just enough info to give me the nerve to forget finesse and put all my muscle on it. It took a while yanking on it with vice grips, but it did come apart. The way it snapped apart made me think I'd broken it. Then I saw 3 barbs on the male (or body) side that are intended to keep this thing together forever.
Tomorrow I get to do battle with the antenna assembly.
