94 Vette sitting while I'm at war.
I'm a miltiary reservist who just returned from 7 months at war. While I was gone, my 94 Vette's battery went dead. I have no idea how long it was dead. After recharging, my Vette is not running quite right. I've driven it over 400 miles since I got back hoping thing would even out. However, the cruise control doesn't work, the LTWPS light won't go out, it randomly throttle's up and down, and in traffic the temp gets almost to 260 degrees. I've taken it to a Corvette speciality shop however my questions are:
Does the on-board computer need to be reset (or something similar) since it was without power for so long?
Is it true that only GM dealers can truly reset the computer?
