A/C relays 92 LT1
After a compressor replacement and conversion to R134 today, we were only able to have the a/c clutch engage when we jumpered 12 volts directly to the compressor.
The fault isolation chart starts with voltage checks at the control head under the instrument panel. Not wanting to disassemble the bezel and instrument panel, we tried to find the relays. We didn't find them. I was contemplating removing the panel to look under the battery tray. Before I did that, I decided to just disconnect the battery for 30 seconds like so many other "resets" you see posted. Wouldn't you know it? The compressor started working and cycling as it should.
Any thoughts or comments?
If it happens in the future look at the control head, if the green LED is flashing there is a fault code in memory.
Link here shows how to read them:

To the best of my knowledge the AC clutch relay is on a bracket behind the front wheel on the passenger side.
The control head LEDs were not indicating any issues after the compressor replacement and R134 change.
At any rate, 24 hours later I am pleased with the replacement.
