Fuel Pump issue?

Fuel Pump issue?
When I put the key in the ON position, the fuel pump doesn't sound as loud as it use to. MY car is a '93 lt1 auto. Drove it this morning and didn't notice any acceleration problems. Since it's not sounding as loud as it once did, is it the fuel pump?

First thing to check would be the fuel pressure... If it's the original fuel pump it wouldn't hurt to change it out just for piece of mind.... You can get a new pump kit from Racetronics for about $90.00... Easy to put in , only takes about an hour.....WW

My dad is going to help me tomorrow, to hook it up to a fuel pressure gauge.
