First off , thank you for the help ! I love this community.
I've been looking at c3s and just decided to take another peek at a 84' c4 that I once passed up. It was running rich from the dual carb set up. Long story short he explains he has spent over 2k sense then ect. Getting her in better shape. (Msd ignition, single carb set up ect.)
The interrior/exterior is beautiful.
I just wanna know whats missing, what it'll need, and if it looks 'bubba'd . Thank you once again!

If you like the looks of the car then take it for a test drive and see how it runs and shifts. If you still like it then buy it. Nothing wrong with a carb set up, easier to work on and less things to go wrong. Sounds like there are some quality parts on it too. Your money,.......your choice. I had an L82 and I liked the performance and now I have a carbed 84 that is a much better handling car than the C3. They only made about 55000 84's so it is not going hurt the value of your 84 much if it has a carb on it!!
Looks like amateur hour at best. When someone can't even neatly route wires or protect them, I have zero faith that any of the stuff you can't see is done correctly.
The top photo is fuzzy, but what appears to be a connector crimped on the yellow wire at the bottom right looks like a two year old did it...and that's an insult to the two year old!
As for returning it to stock...you'd need an intake, the throttle bodies, air cleaner, likely the ECM, wiring harness, AIR pump and lines...just to name a few things. Unless you've lined up some really good part sources and the parts don't need refurbishment and you can do all the work, you'll spend more than what the car is worth by the time it's all said and done.
Edit:....and he needs to lose the $15 Mr. Gasket chrome air cleaner
it looks like he cut the plastic above the distributor for better access. and the throttle cable set up looks sketchy at best. i would take a close look at the entire conversion as it it looks as if it was done quickly and not very thoroughly. imo.

The first picture. A carbed vette is fine but u need to make sure it wasnt a rushed conversion. Some people prefer carb over f.i. I myself am one one of those. But when switching never undo something that cant be put back on later. I drive my 84 crossfire everyday to and from work roughly 26 miles a day and the only time i had a real problem is when i blew a radiator hose. Having FI is nice but if ur into old school hot rod power or sound the carb is better and easier for it imo...
