Follow-Up, No Idle Problem Fixed
First, thanks for all the great help. I checked the fuel pump, the filter, all hoses and lines, relays and even burned out the entire tank of gas. After three days I still had no idle, every time I came to a stop so did the engine.
I talked to a friend who works as a M-B dealership (well at least it wasn't a Ford mechanic) and he told me his secret formula for cleaning injectors, says it works as good as the M-B product, at 1/4 the price.
With at least 10 gallons of fuel in the tank mix in 1 can of "Berryman's Fuel System Cleaner" and then add 1 can of "STP Fuel Injector Cleaner" then drive for at least 15-30 minutes. Total cost at AutoZone, $11.45.
I tried this witch doctor approach and, wala, when I stopped after a 30 minute drive everything was fine....The idle is even a little lower than before, about 650 vs 750 rpm. It's been 5 more days now and everything is fine. Remember, free advise is worth what you paid. But it worked for me... Thanks again for the help, hope I can return the favors.
