Is it possible to change the valve springs without removing the heads? :seeya

yes you need a tool that plugs in the spark plug hole. without it you will have problems. :yesnod:

You can change the valve springs without removing the spark plugs if you use the TDC method.

I did it several times. You fill the cylinder with compressed air. I use my fitting from my compression tester. This will hold the valves up in the head while you change the springs. It takes time and its a PITA for sure.

The plugs are a bitch to get at. Get TDC on cyl 1. Do them, rotate crank 90 degrees and go to the next cyl in the firing order. Repeat until done.
