Will the GS offset 11" wheels fit on the front of my ZR-1 without rubbing?
I have them on the rear of the car now with adapters. I am about to order the correct offset for the rear and was thinking of doing 315s on all 4s. Sound possible?
I've heard that the 17x11's will fit the front end as long as you use a 3/4 in spacer ? Don't know for sure, but that's what I plan on using on my '84 autocrosser. So please let me know as you find out more info, I'd appreciate it. E-mail me at cecenaad@flash.net
Re: 11" GS wheels on the front?? (BrianCunningham)
I put my rear wheels (AFS 17x11 GS offset) on the front Sunday to see how they would do. They stuck out from under the hood about 1/2 an inch. They cleared everything at full lock. You couldn't stick a credit card between the inside of the wheel and the upper ball joint. It didn't hit it though.
I am going to lower the front of my car in a couple of weeks and am worried about them hitting my hood while autocrossing. I am scared to do it due to the cost of the hood.
i'm ignorant of what differences, if any, the front end of a ZR1 has. on my '96 coupe, i run 17x11.5 race wheels (with 8.25" bs) and 17x11 GS wheels for the street.
with the camber i have, neither setup sticks out past the fender. i also have no clearance issues anywhere, race or street.

Do you have any pictures of your car with the 11" wheels in the front?
