Default Intake Issues

Just ordered a set of Bosch III injectors and full install kit, fuel regulator diaphragm, EGR valve, plenum gaskets, etc, etc, etc.
Guess what I'll be doing next weekend.
'89 Coupe, all stock with 67k miles. Guess it's time for a few replacement parts.
All from the Fuelinjectorconnection.com guys.

Great phone service with a very knowledgeable staff

Jon over at FIC is good people. You won't be sorry.

Take your time and note where everything was and goes. There are a few bolts holding the runners that are hidden so take your time looking for them. It will help to have a really good set of tools as you may need different variations of the same size. A good tip is to take pictures as you go and label everything.

When I did my Bosch III's, Jon noted to me that because they were shorter than the stock ones, I didn't need to use the clips. He also told me to mount them into the intake and then mount the fuel rail. You might want to verify that with him.

If you run into any problems, you know the forum guys have your back.

Pull the throttlebody, plenum, and passenger side runner only. The rail will come off. Don't pressurize the system and you get less fuel spillage. The Bosch III's come with an added o ring for TPI to not slip down in to the intake. Use vasoline, or soap and you'll be good to go.
