Can a proffesional cleaning where they run a solution through them fix this problem?? The reason i suspect it is because. I have starting problems (as in it takes a few turns to start unless I wait 3 seconds or so after I turn the key to start the car. Hence it lost pressure and when I turn the key the electric fuel pump primes it and then it starts. Can the cleaning fix this. If anyone has any other ideas feel free to comment.

Also can this effect performance. It has been like this since I purchased the car. Changed plugs and wires a few weeks ago night and day difference alot more power. Btw the car has 34,000 on it. Its a 95 convertible.
Re: I suspect my injectors are leaky (corvette0096)
Sounds like injectors but I would test first and repair second. For around $40, you should be able to find a descent fuel pressure test gauge. Just screw the end on the schrader valve located on the fuel rail, turn key on, engine off, wait at least two seconds, shut key off and note any drop in fuel pressure. (I would wait till the engine is cool, and use a rag when installing and removing the pressure gauge) If the pressure starts to decrease, you may have an injector problem, or perhaps some other fuel line issues. I would not just pull the injectors and send them off.
Keep the greasy side down.

A couple of things. You could have a bad check valve in the fuel pump which allows the fuel to flow back to the tank. Also, a bad PR will do the same thing. Just my $.02 worth.
Re: I suspect my injectors are leaky (Ericthewolf)
Indeed you need to check fuel pressure to see if there is a problem in the FP circuit.
The fuel pump runs for 2sec after you turn on the key to prime the fuel rail. When you start the engine the oil pressure sw keeps power to the fuel pump. If the initial fuel rail prime doesn't happen or bleads off too quickly it could cause your starting problem.
However, if you do need injector service Rich at Cruzin Performance provides a super reconditioning and flow testing serivce.
