Default Another a/c problem

After fixing my last a/c prob. the car ran beautifully for a few months.....then today, it went out again, only differently. The climate control unit does not flash, and no hvac codes are thrown, but no matter what I do with the climate settings, absolutely nothing happens. The engine loads like normal when I turn the a/c on, but nothing comes out of the vents. It started happening on and off this morning while driving, then went out completely an hour ago. Anyone have any ideas?

thanks,
Jason

Surely it couldn't be as simple as a fuse? The same question I asked myself about a month ago when i started noticing an intermittent in my A/C blower. I pulled the fuse, checked it with an ohmmeter and everything looked normal. Just for grins I replaced it with a new fuse and haven't had the problem since! I'm still holding my breath - tough to imagine that a fuse could be the intermittent culprit but it's back to working normal.

Good luck.

turn it on and see if the blower motor is working at all --if it isn't -check it for voltage. If there is batt voltage at the motor- its time for a new blower motor. If not check your fuses. Its pretty common for the brushes to wear out in the blower motors tho

The C68 does a cycle count on the compressor and can prevent the compressor from engaging. Mine did not set a code 09. I speak from experience.
One thing to try is remove the battery cable for 15 seconds. Then reconnect. Wait two minutes. The reason for the two minute wait is for the C68 to cycle the temp control door the full range. After 2 minutes, try the controls. Mine would run for about 2 minutes, then quit, no codes. Small leak at a pressure switch.
If you have a service manual, excellent section to review would 1C1-1 (Not sure about your year).
The C68 will occasionally just quit working and require the C68 computer to "reboot". (Battery disconnect procedure same as above) Darn zero's and ones. Let us know.
