Bad ECM?
I bought a MSD 6AL, FMS 30# injectors and a couple other odd little things. I had a custom built Ed Wright FASTCHIP in it, and everything ran fine. With these new upgrades, the car ran really rich and kinda crappy. So, my mechanic threw the stock chip in and voila, it ran 10 times better. But now, it's throwing a code 33 and having really bad idle issues. We tried to set the idle up, but no such luck. I replaced the MAF and the relays. I recently read a post about a bad ECM being the cause of the bad idle and code 33. How can I tell if my ECM is bad? I am going up to Agostino Racing soon for a dyno tune and chip burn. I hope this will end the problems, but the ECM going bad on another forum member peaked my curiosity. So, how can I tell if my ECM is going bad?

If you do a search on code 15 in the archieves I think you will find David's comments.
One thing you could check is your +5V source at the TPS and CTS to see if it's +5 or messed up.
My problem was that the chip was not securely socketed in the computer. I should have gotten a bunch more codes, but 33 is the only error I ever had reported.
