Two of the fuel injector connectors on my 87 coupe look to have seen their better days. Some of the wires had worn through the insulation, I temporarily covered the wires with some liquid tape. The motor runs strong with no miss currently.
How difficult is it to replace the connectors into the harness? I can solder no problem, just wondering how difficult it will be to get to the spot on the harness where the connector joins. Is the factory connection a soldered joint?
I looked in my FSM but no luck.
Thanks

You just have to open the injector harness up and expose the factory joints
IIRC , the joints are crimped
