After spending a considerable amount of time doing this and other things I will probably pull the upper shroud and vaccum out the debris once a year. Then do the full pull and clean when I change the radiator fluid (every couple of years).

I think this is the strategy that I am going to use...... Each spring remove the top shroud, and then every two years pull the radiator and do the thourough cleaning.......
Went for a drive yesterday and the temps prior on 100 degree day were 197 stop and go. 185 freeway. Now after pullin out the rad and cleaning, 188 stop and go. 175 freeway :cheers:

That seems like a pretty good plan. Just pulled and cleaned mine a couple weeks ago. NASTY!!!
