Default Anti lock light

The heater control valve went bad on my '86 yesterday, So I decided to retrofit a valve from the 83 C10 which went great. while I had it apart, I removed the thermostat and flushed the block and radiator. When I got it all back together, I started it up and have had an Anti lock light on ever since. Never had it happen before.

Also, When I turn on the headlights, I get the dinger, same dinger that sounds off when you turn off the switch but leave the headlights on.

Please Advise

You might want to check your GAGES Fuse.

Here's some info on the ABS system (never had a problem with mine, so I don't know much about it):

http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...abs-light.html

The "dinger" is known as the chime module. It chimes at different rates (fast, medium and slow) depending on what it's complaining about. The conditions that set it off are:

Slow -- Seat belt not fastened with ignition on -- this times out and shuts off
Medium -- Key in ignition with door open -- you can pull the key out a little way to stop this
Fast -- Parking lights or headlights on with ignition off

So it appears the chime module doesn't know that the ignition is on. That could be a problem with the adjustment of the ignition switch. The key cylinder connects to the switch with a rod. The switch itself is located near the bottom of the steering column. It's position is adjustable, so it might just need to be moved a little.

It turned out being the Gauges Fuse. I must have gotten something wet that didnt like being wet at all lol. I was almost certain I caused the problem so I was pretty sure that the ignition fuse was alright. The Gauges fuse is a little strange but Im not going to complain at all.

Thank you very much for your input.
