Default 1990 dash light rheostat location??

When I bought this car, I found the rheostat on the floorboard and I can't find the harness that it is supposed to be plugged into.

Under extreme left of the instrument panel actually in the vicinity that you would expect. The connector is likely stuffed up and amongst the relays that are also located in this area. You might be able to spot the two holes where it would attach. Do you have a FSM? Book2 - 8A-201-10 fig 27.

Thanks for the response WVZR1. I'll keep digging. And no, I wish I had a FSM!
