When my module went, I was told (here on this forum) that with the heat something inside the module expands and the connection is broken - then there goes your ignition. When it cools it contracts and things are a okay again. Dunno how much truth there is in it but thats what I was told...
I would imagine if the injectors tested fine when warm (ie: the resistance was right on all of them) then that isn't your problem. I can't say whether he did it when hot or cold all he has to do though is unplug the connector on top of each injector and measure the resistance across the two terminals. Its not like they cool before he can get to them unless he does something else and lets your car cool before testing them.
I had the same problem with my '85. I replaced the ignition module this morning, took it for test spin, and shut it off. The car started right up. It's an easy fix! :chevy
