I have to believe that's a misprint and should be $169 for the Edelbrock. They only make one for the C4 and it's a Victor Series #8815 and even Summit Racing sells it for $157.

Re: Water Pump question (champs_97)
I'm assuming that the edelbrock and Stewart will move more water faster than the stock water pump. Is that correct????
The problem that I am having is that while driving, my car runs really low temps right around 200, but when I stop at a light the temps jump up to 220 - 230, and then I have to drive for awhile to reduce the temps....
I am guessing that a water pump that can circulate the water faster while at idle will help keep the temps lower while stuck at a light.....

I don't know if I believe tests that one manufacturer conducts of another's hardware; also Stewart never mentioned whether they tested an Edelbrock Victor Series racing pump or one of the cheaper replacements.
But I do like Stewart pumps; if they just made a Stage 2 or 3 for C4's I'd have bought one. But all they have is the Stage 1 which is only a modified OEM casting and lacks the billet impeller.
