Default 40th Anniversary Green??

There is a ZR1 for sale in Canada, being advertised as a 40th Anniversary ZR1. It is polo Green and has the 40th Anniversary carved into the head rests. I know the 40th Anniversary is only suppose to be Ruby Red, do all 1993 Vettes have the 40th seats? Or could this be a Canada thing? Or could you order a non Ruby Red 40th in Canada? Or this may be custom... Any info would be great!

If that car is on ebay, then I think that I came across it as well. As stated, ALL (except the few that came with cloth seats instead of leather - yes, 1993 was the last year to offer cloth seats) 1993 model year Corvettes were produced with the 40th Anniversary logo embroidered in the headrests.

As you have mentioned, the "true" 40th Anniversary cars (RPO Z25) were all indeed Ruby Red - no other color ever, under any circumstances. The ZR-1 that you are looking at is not a custom car, nor is it a Canadian special order...it's factory. Hope that clears it up. :)
