Cut Plugs or Splitfires???
I was getting ready to do the "Cut Plug", but would it be better to just put in Splitfires, or those new plugs with 4 electrodes (Crossfires). Petty stuff...I know, but I need something to do.

I don't believe the SplitFires alone will be as effective.
Originally I couldn't get AC Delco so cut back SplitFires and saw the 10hp gain (1mph trap speed). I now run AC Delco cut-back plugs.
I know from back-to-back testing at the strip that RapidFires don't have the same gain.
The 4 element plugs may be as good but I have no data on them.

65Z01, Thanks for the info. I noticed that you replied to a coil question and mentioned that he should open the spark plug gap up from .035 to .045 for a more efficient burn. Should I be doing this with the cut plugs.
