I can bend and move the GM x brace myself. It must feel like a noodle to the car. There is a lot of room for improvement. :yesnod: http://www.ttrperformance.com
X-brace=$399.95
c-4 anti-flex bar= $449.95 chrome $399.95 black powder coated.
c-5 anti- flex bar $575.95 chrome or 525.95 for black powder coated
I saw this in person at NCCC convention. I don't autocross but I'm still impressed enough that I would like to try it out. (x-brace)
They also have the anti-flex bar that goes in in place of the targa top. You don't have to remove it too take off the top. They have a package price for both pieces for a c-4 coupe.
Tell him charlie from S&S parade and NCCC convention sent ya.
I'm anxiouslyawaiting to see Dave Cooper's x-brace, too. What is the contact info?
Sorry to delaying the introduction, Camber-brace sales have been keeping us covered up. I plan on doing an installation this week-end and I'll take some pictures for everyone. Our design is totally different from the one above as you might guess. I'm very concerned about ground clearance, because the performance advantage of a lowered Vette is very important to me.

I'm definitely going to want one if it will work well with a lowered car. That's the only reason I haven't done some kind of x-brace already. Let me know if you need another test subject. :D
I have not seen this brace myself, ( the one pictured from ttr) but as a mechanical designer ( formerly, before I went Geek) I can make one basic comment.
Structural strength is all about making triangles. The physics would probably bore you ( unless you are as freekin wierd as I am ) but trust me on this, and anybody who agrees/disagrees feel free to chime in.
Anyway the point is, that believe it or not, unless you tighten down all four corners in there proper positions, the triangles have not been properly formed and interlocked. Thus, you have no idea how strong (rigid) the total mechanical system will be. It might wiggle like jello when standing free, but locked into place, it could deflect a speeding bus.
Of course, like I said, I have never seen it. It might just be a piece of crapp.
Or did you mean that your existing (bolted on) brace wiggled? In which case I have gone off on a rant for nothing.

I was talking about my stock brace. It helps but it still allows flexing. I was going to box in my x brace for strenght but I rather get Dave's bar when it comes out. He did a great job on the camberbrace.
