I would get new tires if I was planning any trips or running 90+ mph. The tires are almost 7 yrs old. And FYI, that date code 0507 represents the tires were manufactured the 5th week of 2007 not May 2007.
So rwc, you still haven't answered the question about the tire age.
I'm assuming you have limited mechanical knowledge.
So on the tire there is some little numbers that signify the week and year of manufacture.
If your tires are more than 5-6 years old, no matter how much tread is left, your playing with fire over 75.
I sure hope you don't end up like a lot of others on the C4 section that end up selling because they can no longer justify the maintenance costs.
Good Luck
BTW the center muffler is a CAT
hey maintance on a Farri or Lambo is way more expensive!
crawl under his car and put a plastic tie strap around his driveshaft. Sometimes the only way to get these jokers to back off is to give it back to them. I guarantee you he won't have a pair of cutters in his pocket and he'll have to listen to it all the way home.
well started my tune up fortunately I had a new water pump as the old one was going out the bearings were showing no seal and several missing there is oil in the coolant and the water pump drive shaft is leaking so now new to buy the shaft and seal kit for front timing set found that at least the cap and rotor was replaced with a accel wires looked like original wire set I have a set of Taylor 8mm wires but no optispark distributor ends so looking for the ends on ebay hope to find some or I may be stuck paying 135.00 for a set of MSD wires problem is to repair the drive shaft I need to remove the intak manifold so now need those seals well I found plenty to fix the distributor was soaked in oil and I need to get the harmonic balancer off any one know if there is a special tool to get the HB off I removed the three bolts but can't see how to get a puller on it

A block of wood and BFH will remove a stuck damper from the hub.
place the wood behind the damper and sharply hit the wood with the BFH spin the engine a third of a rotation repeat the sharp blow on the wood repeat as needed.
well got the HB off and found that the distributor was rusted inside so replaced the whole distributor as the optical sensor was corroded too much to swap out with the other distributor that doesn't have a Mitsubishi sensor anyway the issues with intermittent miss was most like the corrosion in the cap rotor and threw out the distributor if the new optispark fails I plan to just replace with a coil pack system I found that replaces the ECM... and doesn't use the optical trigger in the optispark
