Had my 383 built and tuned by TPIS all I did was install it. I am getting a strong odor that burns your eyes and makes your clothes stink like it. The smell is less when it is warmed up. I am also getting a black soot on the rear facia and exhaust tips. I have no emissions at all just mufflers. What should be my next step a wide ban o2 sensor or a data logger?

Learn to playback the file with the histogram open. This will give you your BLM averages. If rich they will be below 128, and lean is above. You could send it to TPiS for their review, but you may need to find a reliable tuner. TPiS doesn't like you much after your card has been charged.
The specs on the cam are 560 lift and 225 duration, with Dart 200 pro 1 heads, miniram intake, 52mm TB, 28 lbs injectors, 10.8.1 compression, set to 8 deg base timing. TPIS programmed the chip and the engine runs strong, I just am worried about too much fuel causing damage to rings. Fuel pressure is set to 55 psi with vacuum line off.
The LSA is 112. I am not sure why they have the fuel pressure so high. This is my first engine build and that is what the sheet says it was set for on the dyno run.
if you bump 28 lb injectors to 55 psi they flow 31.5 lbs,
my guess it was done to make max hp on the dyno run and not melt the pistons,
you probably need to back it down to around 43 psi to make it driveable.
I backed it down to 45 psi and called TPIS and they said to take it down to 50. Ordered a cable from moates for data logging and will go from there. Haven't been able to drive car because of the weather in St Louis. Thanks for the help
