I have the opportunity to get a vortech blower that was supposed to be taken off a 96 vette. Im wondering if anyone can identify this stuff for me?

Looks like this kit is a vortech V-1 for a 92-1996 corvette. It has everything and includes a Fast Computer. I am debating buying this just to keep around.

Does anyone have any experience with the V-1?

the question is what trim level it is. You should measure the discharge diameter. That will tell you if it's a S trim or a T trim.

what's your question? The s trim has been around since the early 90's and is pretty bulletproof. I've had several of the vortech units on my cars and have never had a problem, even with a lot of street miles on some of them.

Sorry, in my prior post I had it backward. It's the inducer size that differs. 4" on ysi, and I want to say 3.75 for t and 3.5" for a trim. Check the website to make sure at www.vortechengineering.com
