Default Thoughts on under drive pulleys?

Is there a kit thats worth any power for our cars?

Does this kit impact our accessories or alternator by chance?

I have March pulleys. The crank pulley ratio is meant to reduce rpms on the A/C compressor, smog pump and power steering pump. The kit includes pulleys for the water pump and alternator that bring the rpms back to stock. So the alternator and water pump are not affected.

Can you feel any heavy powersteering at a stop or low speeds w/ the march pulleys?

Does the cabin still stay cool at idle/low rpm w/ the March pulleys?

Do you know of any dyno proven results from these March pulleys?

I didn't feel the power steering changed at all. March 3 piece pulley system. I did feel that the engine spun up faster. I was still playing with the L98 at the time. I changed the pulleys and eliminated the cat for the track and cut .5 seconds of prior times. Wish I had made one change at a time to get a better read on track performance.

A very nice upgrade. One of the best ones. The under drive pulleys decrease parasitic drag from the engine driven accessory drives. If I had a choice to do just one bolt one upgrade, this would definately be at the top of the list.

^Interesting! Why do you say it would be at the top of the list?

Previous owner put them on my 89 so I can't tell you a before and after effect but I can say that there is no adverse effects. AC might be a bit warmer at idle but that's all I can think of.

No. Will autox in Spring. It has too many other things done to it to tell a difference between a stock L98 and any gains from pulleys. Whole exhaust has been upgraded, pulleys, cut lid, and 1.6 roller rockers/valve springs. It takes off like a rocket.
