snap on mt2500 for 92 LT1
Ive been shopping on fleabay for 1
what should I be looking for? They have whole used kits or individual pieces. its sort of overwhelming when it comes to wading thru all the items for sale.

Mostly just make sure it has all of the cables and connectors (you will be needing the GM-1 for sure), as well as the books that come with it. The more cartridges you can get with the purchase the better, but make sure you get the troubleshooter cartridge and the primary cartridge to cover your make and year. If it comes with the re-programmable cartridges, even better. There are lots of different cartridges that you can get, and the troubleshooter cartridges are pretty cool, lots of helpful code and symptom specific tests and info. You will have to get a separate troubleshooter cartridge for ABS, but it will cover both Asian imports and domestic cars.
