ABS active light?

ABS active light?
today when i stared the car the ABS acitve light where on all the time during driving. I can hear the abs pump do its self test, but teh abs active light is on all the time? What could be wrong?

I didn't think the ABS active light worked on 90+ cars. :confused:

The light should come on when you reach 3 mph for about 2 seconds to let you know the system tested itself and is A-OK. The light should not come on otherwise in casual driving. If it is on all the time it sounds like you need to have the system looked at. On a side note i did not have ABS on my 84 and i wish my 91 vert didn't either. It is so annoying to have the car try to drive for me. I have braked while driving at high speeds in corners and when the ABS kicks on ehre and there i do not feel in control of the car. In any event that light should not stay on, better have it checked out.
