I've never seen them scramble... however the digital dashes are notorious for cold solder joints. It could be yours is headed that way... that would account for missing segments of the readout...

I dunno about scrambled speedos but every once in a great while my buttons will mix up each other. My eng/met will change gauges, gauges will change fuel info, etc. Haven't had it happen in a while though.
