I'm with you, I like to buy cheap stereos now because I hate giving away my stereo systems. You know.. After you replace the window and pay the deduct.
I have been looking for a radio that looks cheap but has good functions.
I'm not a tech junkie and really only need GPS and hand free phone features. Anything else is a plus. Just a want a full screen and GPS. Kenwood makes a DNX 6180 that looks nice. I don't have to have Pioneer. Just want a good system and need some recommendations.

I actually just installed a Kenwood DNX 6180 about a month ago and the customer was really happy and I was impressed with the quality of it. He came back by the other day to let me know all was still good and that it sounded great and had good functionality.
If you like the look of that one then i'd go with it, it seems really good from experience of setting it up and from customer feedback.
EDIT: There is also the Kenwood Excelon DNX890HD which is more expensive Unit then the DNX 6180, but it is also a better newer one that MANY of my customers have which I installed. It has the Hands-Free calling and Navigation and PLENTY more. On the downside it is more expensive.

My 1993 and 1994 are going to the shop to get rid of the raspy Bose Systems. The owner thought they were Double Din until he looked at them and the are 1.5 Din. I am just going with a JVC AM/FM CD player, USB and Ipod plug.

Does their site say it'll fit? The earlier C4s are 1.5 DIN, not double.
The next issue is output matched to the Blose amps.
It does not but both VetteDaddy and I have 91s.. double din. I think Im going to order one. It will either fit my GTO or the Vette depending on how happy I am with it.
