Side Lamp Electrical Issues
Hello guys. I have a 1991 and my front side marker lights went out. At first it seemed like it was just the bulb but the terminals were corroded and when I went to install new one there is no power. Any suggestions this is really annoying.

Just to rule out the simple stuff first:
They should only come on when the headlights are on, and that side's turn signal is activated.

I think I gave you bad advice above.
The amber marker lights will come on with just the parking lights or headlights on.
The white side marker light will come on with the parking lights or headlights on, and the turn signal activated for that side.

OK that's what I thought . You have any ideas besides cutting into another wire? I really don't want to do that but I need to fix it because the car has to be inspected. Someone suggested a bad ground but the other lights wouldn't come on if that's the case.
