It depends on how much work you're having done to the heads and how much they flow but the heads can flow much more than that cam will allow.

So should I upgrade the injectors? I figured while it is all apart it is the best time to upgrade. I can go with 24lb or 30lb there is only a $20.00 difference..

They are stock LT4 heads that had been mildly ported..

It's hard to say without seeing the car on a dyno. Thats how we found out I needed 30lbs injectors.
You don't want it to run to rich.

You do know your STOCK 96 LT1 injectors are already 24# right?

LT4 stock injectors are 28#

Also you will need a new program in the car so it does not run too rich with the 30#'s

Do you think that the 24lb injectors will be adequate or I will need to upgrade? My only choice would be the 30lb injectors... That's all I can find.

If your doing the full upgrade to LT4 hot cam and heads, go with the 30s. There's nothing wrong with larger injectors as long as they are not too rich at idle. I have had 36# in my car without any idle problems. I went to 30s because they were cheaper and I wanted to get rid of the accel POS I had in the car.

Larger injectors provide a margin of safety which is nice to have if you want the engine to last a long time.
