door locks don't work ??
In my 85 vette the door locks don't work I can here a "tick" under the dash somewhere when I hit the button and sometimes if I push it enough they might lock. what do I need to do to fix this problem?? :confused:

Sometimes when a car sits for a while the locks get weak either in the relay or the switches but if yours dont work at all aftere toggling the buttons a few time you need to trace the prob. The lock cicuit is simple, check fow power at the actuators first then the out put on the lock relay i think its down in the driver kick panel, last check at the switches. If power is weak or not present at any point thats the problem the actuators are usually pretty good the relay is the likely problem.
