Does the alternator have a fuse?

Does the alternator have a fuse?
I had my old burn out alternator rebuilt while I'm waiting for my new burned out alternator ( yeah :rolleyes: ) to get back

I hooked it up and I get zip, nada, nothing!
What's left, the harness?
I looked up the wiring diagram and there's suppose to be a 20amp fuse going to the alternator, fuse not a fuzable link.
There's nothing labelled alternator under the hood or in the dash fuse box.
So I checked all of them, one at a time :sleep:
Any idea which one it's suppose to be?

I thought it got moved under the hood, but at this stage I'm more than willing to look.

No more fuses discovered.
I'm thinking my manual is wrong, and the culprit is a bad fusible link.
I did a conductivity test and the control wires going in are showing 12v, the big wire going out not only has no voltage, but has no conductivity as well :eek:
Should be fun to replace, it goes into the fuel injection harness! :crazy:

The alternator output wire (big red wire) goes to the jump start bolt by the battery and the fusible link for the alternator is on this wire.

Found it, thanks!
They moved it over to the battery side.
Took the battery out and there it was blow in half!
There's another fusible link there as well, it looked ok
