Default ABS help needed

Have a 1993 & the ABS light is on--brakes work fine--was told the light can be turned off & if it stays off, everything should be ok--how to turn off ?

ABS light is on because a code is set. Simplest thing would be low brake fluid. There are several componets related to ABS. You need to find out what code(s) is stored to start diagnosis. Visual inspection - fluid level, wheel speed sensors connections are good, along with fuse.

When checking fluid level, it is recommended that you use slip-joint pliers...... one to hold the reservoir from moving, and one to remove the cap (difficult).
