looking to install a short throw shifter...any recommendations?
i installed a b&m in my mustang. i like it although it's a bit noisy. any recommendations on a shifter for the c4?

Do a search and you will find all kinds of topics and responses to the shifter debate. Everyone has their own opinion and it is best to find someone that has what you are looking at and try it yourself. They are a personal thing. (I like the B&M, the Hurst is not short throw enough for me)

see if you can find someone with either installed in their car. Maybe they will let you try it out.
I happen to come across the B&M trailer at the NHRA winternationals and tried that one there. It was very nice.
I oredered the Hurst without trying it. I installed it, and it's better than stock. I think I may switch over to the B&M tho.

I like my Hurst, but if you're not sure, attend a local forum event where there's both a B&M and a Hurst shifter. Try 'em yourself before you make your choice.

The B&M is certainly short throw (and very stiff), but NO WHERE even close as smooth as the Hurst!
