I would imagine so. Coil springs do.

What exactly does a cool spring have to do with a C4 corvette?

Yes both front and rear leaf springs can sag. They will also start to splinter on some occasions.

If it's NOT suffering from any delamination then I'm going to say NO or if it does it would be minimal and not anything that you can see and it would require substantial to measure it. Delamination or a failure of the spring generally results in what appears to be a "splintering" on the edges cross-wise in the car. I don't recall ever seeing one that splintered center to the outer edges (width of spring)where the edges weren't splintered and showing the delamination.

A failure like this would be catastrophic generally and result in one side or the other way out of spec.

Because Corvettes use mono leaf springs instead of coil springs to suspend the car.

Your quote said coil springs springs sag, a C4 corvette doesn't have coil springs. Irrelevant information.

Wv summed it up very well.

How about a factual answer. NO, they WILL not sag. Unless they completely fail, if anything, fiberglass leaf springs don't really wear out. Typical, steel spring has fatigue or even failure at 200,000 full cycles. GM wore out the test equipment testing the fiberglass springs. 2 Millon+ cycles and they gave up. The Z07 springs under my car, as I was told-they are off another Corvette, have 236K on them, I put another 3K on them so far. They don't sag a bit. Perfect as day one. Don't believe me, believe Dave McLellan its from his book.

it would seem I am wrong. I think i may have a issue with my car then. I'm wondering if my Z07 has been lowered in the front as it sits a bit low.

I haven't seen a difference in my 87. I've owned it since 1994.
A friends C5 had the front spring splinter.

Mine also seems too low in the front, infact the driver's side seems to sit an inch lower than the passenger side. There is no splintering visible and the front spring does not appear to have been modified to lower the car. The rear spring still had the factory bolts & bushings when I bought the car.

Where are you measuring? There are specific points where the car needs measured to confirm dimensionally that is within specs. It is NOT measured at the hood edges or the quarter edges at the wheel openings.
